Autumn On The Way To The Supermarket | Pictures Of The Week 2

Welcome to week 2 of my pictures of the week blog series. I share weekly picture as I went along each week as a way of documenting beautiful finds, moments and things which brightened the weeks. I have here, some pictures I took when my husband and I were on our way to the supermarket for our food shopping. We decided to take a walk and try out a different supermarket. I am still on what I call now the "Autumn fever mode". Simply meaning I am constantly falling in love again and again with all things pertaining to autumn, my favourite season. If you haven't seen it alread, I have week 1 up here.

Please, lets go!

First off, the fallen leaves, yet again. This time perhaps not as bold and colourful as in week 1, still didn't take away from the beauty. Looking more berry and brown in colour, reminds me of berry lipsticks and pies!

While I stopped to capture more moments, there went hubby ahead of me. I absolutely love the contrast he gave to the colours around, in an all black smart outfit. The grass! So green!

Lovely husband contrasting!

I loved this view as it reminded me of a mangrove, something I learnt a lot about as a young one. Mangrove structures still amaze me today. I don't really know the name of the fruit tree below, though it looks like a wild Rose Hip tree. If you do, please let me know in the comments below. I just know they look like palm nut fruits from Africa!

rose hip tree?

The icing on the cake was this tree right below, glorious! I just had to. I have seen a lot more of it around. The winner of my autumn tree picture pagent today. Completely full of shades of yellow and orange, not even a brown or green in sight. It was like a big yellow sun.

Did I say the icing on the cake?

And finally, we have here a beautiful track in a forest I love to go to now. Further ahead is a stream which provides the most peaceful place to listen to just water flowing, and nothing else. I hope you enjoyed these gifts of nature. Do let me know which was your favourite in the comments below, and don't forget to share if you liked this post.
