Nail Art - Baby Pink Fluorescent Blue Nails

For this nail polish look, I wanted to achieve a pink and blue baby-colours strips, not quite a tiger print but could look so from afar. Though one of colours is fluorescent by name I like how they both look like baby colours on the outcome. Lovely combination for spring as you get quite bright colours which are still calm, innocent and fun.

I used -
w7 Fluorescent Blue Polish
w7 Baby Pink Polish
Sally Hansen Top and Base Coat
Cutex Ultra Moisturising Nail Polish Remover
A Cotton Bud

How To Make A Homemade Half And Half Baguette | With Video Recipe

So I have decided to be baking my own homemade bread as part of my healthy eating habit, just so I know exactly what ingredients are going into my loaves. So today, I share my half and half bread recipe made with half white and half whole grain flour. Alternatively, the white flour or the brown flour could be solely used in order to make either a white or a brown loaf.

To make this half and half loaf you will need the ingredients listed below-

5oz Whole Grain Brown Flour
5oz White Bread Flour
1 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Sugar
15g Yeast
1/2 Teaspoon Nutmeg
1 Teaspoon Butter
Luke Warm Water

1. Mix dry ingredients in a mixing bowl - flour, salt, sugar, yeast, nutmeg
2. Add the butter to the dry mixture
3. Mix with your fingers into the consistency of crumbs
4. Slowly begin to add luke warm water a bit at a time in order to slowly achieve a firm and soft dough. Do not add too much water as this will make the dough soggy or runny.
5. Once a dough has been formed, transfer the dough onto a wooden board for kneading and shaping.
6. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes or more depending on how much gluten you want for the loaf.
7. After kneading, divide dough into two and roll into baguette shapes. Score a line down each roll.
8. Transfer the rolled doughs onto a greased and lightly flour dusted baking pan and place two cups between the dough.
9. Wet a napkin with warm water and lay over the cups and baking pan. The purpose of the cups is to suspend the damp napkin so that it doesn't touch the dough while it rises.
10. Allow the dough to rise for between 45mins and 2 hours depending on your preference.
11. Pre-heat oven to about 180 degree celcius
12. Place doughs into oven and allow to bake for approx 20-30 minutes or until the bread sounds hollow when tapped.
13. Your bread is ready. Cover the freshly baked bread with a dry cloth in order for it to cool down and not harden

Et Voila, a tasty half and half loaf. Enjoy with butter, cheese or make into a sandwich. I normally make these for sandwiches. I hope you enjoy it and do comment below with any questions.
